If we are able to see a death loss as more than grief, misery and suffering, but recognize the opportunity that death provides us, we can live a richer existence. Many of us live much of our lives by just going through the motions and wasting precious time. When we experience the death of a loved one, or you yourself have a terminal diagnosis, you realize that life is precious. Now if we could have this awareness without the tragedy of death, how much richer might our lives be?
This documentary profiles people who share their insights because they either work in the industry of death, end-of-life care, or whom themselves are terminally ill.
The story is told through the experiences of two remarkable women who are facing their own death, with just months to live. They have been battling cancer and represent some of the luckier of the terminally ill patients, in that they are beating the odds and surviving beyond the their life expectancies.
